Naimisharanya (Neemsar) It is a land imbued with Hindu mythology linking to Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Sati, and Lord Shiva. There is a belief that it is a divinity of 33 gods and goddesses where they reside. The place is located on the banks of the River Gomati, located in the Sitapur district. Chakratirth is the most attractive place in Naimisharanya. Chakratirth is the place where Lord Brahma’s wheel cracked through the earth developing a large source of water.
